He talks about love, but his version of love is layered with possession, obsession, and violence. Each session reveals more of who he really is, and what he’s capable of doing behind closed
doors.
Book II: Origin
It takes us back to his beginnings. As a young Black boy growing up with trauma, rejection, and silence, Dominic learns that
vulnerability gets punished. The people who were supposed to protect him didn’t. What grows inside him is not just anger but a hunger for power. His first kills are not random. They are born from betrayal and the ache of being invisible.
Book III: Whatever Kills You
Follows CJ and Emily as their lives begin to unravel under the weight of secrets linked to Dominic. CJ is searching for answers about his father’s crimes, torn between wanting the truth and fearing what he’ll find. Emily discovers a hidden flash drive that reveals a side of her husband she never saw coming. As the investigation into Dominic deepens, their
relationship is pushed to the edge. Lies surface, loyalties shift, and the closer they get to the truth, the more they risk losing each other, and themselves.
Book IV: Messy
Begins with a fire. Dominic sets it himself, watching the flames erase any trace of what really happened. He isn’t running. He’s ready. And now behind bars, Dominic begins telling his story, one detail at a time. Pulling detectives, analysts, and anyone who listens into his twisted version of truth. Detectives from two states come to question him, thinking they’re in control. What they find is a man who knows exactly what to say to make
people listen, fear, and doubt their own judgment.
